FAQs
Are your teas organic?
Some of the herbs in our teas are not certified organic but they are not grown with pesticides. All bulk items I do not grow are certified organic.
How long does your tea last?
The average shelf life of tea is about 2 years if stored properly. However, herbal teas do not expire in the way that normal food expires, they simply loose aroma and flavor over time.
How do you store tea properly?
Tea should be stored in an air tight container or bag away from direct sunlight and moisture.
How much tea should I use and how long should I steep it?
1 tsp is the amount I prefer for my tea, you can play around and see if you like it stronger. I find a little goes a long way. Loose leaf teas should be steeped for at least 5-10 minutes to take in all the benefits of the herbs. Teas with bark, roots and berries may be steeped 15 minutes. If you find that the flavor is too bitter, decrease the steep time. You can also add honey or your other favorite sweetener.
