Beeswax Offerings
Beeswax has been used for thousands of years as it offers a clean burning, long lasting and sweet smelling alternative to other candle sources. In magical folklore & practice beeswax is thought to harness the energy of the Sun God. It can offer abundance, purity and bring in the light, offering a direct connection to the spiritual realms.

Beeswax Candles
Our Beeswax tapers are hand poured using local organic beeswax. Our wicks are made of cotton, hemp, or a wooden wick. I do not add scent to my beeswax candles as they naturally smell like honey. Because of the natural elements used to make our candles each one is unique and different. A white film known as "bloom" may develop on beeswax candles over time. This is completely natural for beeswax and attests to it's purity. It can be removed simply with a wet cloth.
Candle Care & Safety: Always burn candles on a heat safe surface away from hazards, pets and children. Beeswax & pillar candles should be placed in a heat safe bowl for the wax to pool in while burning as they will melt and drip.

Beeswax Luminaries
History & Folklore: Luminaries have a long spiritual history spanning many cultures and centuries. They are thought to honor the light within us. Beeswax has been used traditionally around the Winter Solstice to represent the return of the sun after the long dark solstice night. Reminding us that even the darkest night, within us we carry that light. May this luminary remind you of that divine light you carry within you.
All of our beeswax Luminaries are hand dipped one at time. Pressed flowers are added at the end and dipped again to seal them in the beeswax. Because of this each one is unique and may vary slightly due to the primitive methods I use to create them. They will last virtually forever when kept with care, making them a lovely heirloom item.

Traditional Beeswax Folk Ornaments
History & Folklore: Traditional beeswax ornaments date back to Renaissance times, mostly attributed to the Germans. Bakers would pour their excess beeswax into Springrle cookie molds to create intricate ornaments. Some were dusted with cinnamon, painted or blackened to add depth to details. They would hang them on Yule trees or in windows to honor the return of the sun after the long dark solstice night.

It is completely harmless and can simply be wiped off if desired, or kept for a rustic look. Do not store in hot areas as details may fade or melt. Direct sunlight may cause the wax to darken over time.
